Typical uses of the COBOL checker are presented in the following videos :
-
The first video presents
the use of the RainCode Checker to detect rule offenses in a COBOL
project.
-
The second video presents
the way the Eclipse plugin is used to generate PDF reports on a
coding session. A sample
report is associated to this video.
-
The RainCode Checker can also be used to display trends for a specific
project. The third video explains
how easily these trends are accessed.
-
The fourth video presents one
of the main features of the RainCode Checker : the high level of
customization available to the user. It demonstrates how easily a new
rule can be added in a specific rule set.
-
The fifth video presents how
one can ensure that the rules implemented in a specific rule set
correspond to the required behavior, using regression tests
-
The last video presents
the way the RainCode Checker qualifies the rules implemented in a specific
rule set, ensuring that these rules are ready to be audited, which is of utmost
importance for safety critical systems.
